The team is based out of Harrisburg, PA and brings with them over 70 years of combined industry experience and $190 million in AUM. Prospera, a privately held company, is a Texas based financial firm founded in 1982 as a full-service, boutique broker-dealer and support organization for successful independent Financial Professionals across the country.
Doug Charney, founder and president of Charney Investment Group, has over 28 years of experience working in the financial services industry. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and began his securities career after serving in the U.S. Army and retiring with the rank of captain. Over his career he has completed advanced studies in retirement planning and written articles for more than 50 newspapers and magazines, including SmartMoney, the Harrisburg Patriot-News, Central Pennsylvania Business Journal, Minorities and Women in Business, Bull & Bear Financial Digest, Physician’s Money Digest and CPA Wealth Provider.

Freddy Cassivi, vice president, commits himself to helping his clients develop financial and investment strategies. Prior to becoming a financial advisor, Freddy was a professional hockey player. With discipline and trust, Freddy often led his team against a variety of obstacles and he has been able to transfer those skills to helping his clients plan for their future.
Brian Gleason serves as the senior registered client associate for the team and has over 19 years of experience in the financial services industry. His background includes roles in operations, sales and compliance supervision.
Amanda Barnett has over 17 years of experience in financial services and is a senior client associate. Her knowledge includes handling IRA accounts, account transfers and opening new accounts.
