12 Days of Advisor Marketing
Posted by Prospera Financial on December 1, 2025
As our final blog of the year, I feel a sense of duty to wrap up our posts with a nice holiday bow. And what better way than to send us off than with 12 Days of Advisor Marketing?
December can feel like a race to the finish line, but it’s also a great time for advisors to pause, reflect, and set up the systems that support a strong start in January. The ideas below can be done quickly but have a meaningful impact. Think of them as small steps that add up to a more polished, intentional brand in 2026.
Day 1: Refresh Your Website Bio
Have you looked at your bio since you started your website seven years ago? I see you! Take a moment before the end of the year to update your expertise, add any new designations, community involvement, or a short personal detail that brings relatability.
Day 2: Record a 60-Second Video Message
Something simple… really. A year-end thank you or a reminder to schedule reviews. No need for heavy production. You can put that new iPhone camera to the test.
Day 3: Audit Your Google Business Profile
Add photos, update hours, and make sure your phone number routes correctly. Folks search AI more and more these days for recommendations, but they are still googling your location, so make sure your contact info is up to date.
Day 4: Update Your Email Signature
If your email sign-offs are looking a little bland, take a second to refresh your signature. Maybe add your logo or a link to your scheduling tool.
Day 5: Create Three Evergreen Social Posts
Consider topics like client FAQs, financial wellness tips, or common misconceptions. Save them in your content library for the new year.
Day 6: Recycle a Top-Performing Piece of Content
Did you have a blog do particularly well this year? Throw it into ChatGPT for ideas on creating it into a short video, a client email, or multiple social posts. Repurposing = consistency without burnout.
Day 7: Send a Thoughtful, Personal Note
Choose five clients or COIs (centers of influence) to send a short “I appreciate you” message to. No pitch – just gratitude. Handwritten is best!
Day 8: Create Your 2026 Content Themes
Choose three to five themes you’ll anchor your marketing around next year: retirement income, business transitions, behavioral finance, etc.
Day 9: Clean Up Your LinkedIn Profile
Add a new pic, updated headline, add featured links, and rewrite your About section to focus on your ideal client.
Day 10: Write Down Top Client Questions from This Year
Each question can be a social media post. Big, complex questions become a webinar. Your clients’ biggest questions can be the roadmap to your content strategy.
Day 11: Build a Simple “Welcome to 2026” Email
Write up a client-friendly email for early January. Highlight your focus areas, key reminders, the value you delivered last year, and what clients can expect in the new year.
Day 12: Set One Marketing Habit for 2026
Pick something sustainable. Is it a video per month? 10 minutes of commenting on LinkedIn daily? One COI lunch each week? Small commitments outperform big resolutions.
I hope these ideas can become a source of inspiration as we head into 2026. Whether you complete all twelve or just pick a few that fit your goals, each one moves your marketing in the right direction.
Happy marketing,
