Show Some Love

Posted by Prospera Financial on February 8, 2024

The day of love is just around the corner. You may be anti-Valentine’s Day or you may love this heart-shaped holiday. Whichever camp you’re in, it doesn’t make Valentine’s Day any less of a bona fide tradition for many. Take this as an opportunity to connect with clients on a more personal level while promoting financial well-being. Below are some quick ideas to incorporate Valentine’s Day in your communication plan with your clients or leads:

  • Put on a “Love Your Finances” Event: Host a special event or webinar around Valentine’s Day focused on financial well-being. Encourage clients to assess their financial health, set financial goals as couples, and discuss strategies for achieving them. Provide tips on managing joint finances, budgeting, and planning for shared financial goals.
  • Email a Valentine’s Day Investment Insight: Create an email or blog discussing how investing is like a long-term relationship. Draw parallels between successful investing and the qualities of a strong partnership… like patience, communication, and adaptability.
  • Host a Galentine’s Brunch: Cheesy? Maybe. But I, for one, would never turn down mimosas with some girlfriends. Host a brunch or luncheon at a local restaurant or your office for your women clients and their daughters or friends. They’ll get to introduce their family and friends to their financial advisors, and you’ll get a chance to connect with a very important segment of your clients.
  • Create Some Love-Themed Financial Infographics: Share infographics on social media platforms with financial tips and advice related to love, relationships, and money. Visual content tends to be more engaging and shareable.

So there you have it – a couple of fun ways to sprinkle some financial love this Valentine’s Day. Whether it’s hosting events, sharing ideas on social media, or turning investment insights into date night conversations, these ideas can add a personal touch to your communication plan and remind your clients that you care.

With love,
